We came together because we saw the gaps, the missed conversations, the absence of safe spaces, and that quiet feeling of not quite belonging. Rather than waiting for others to fill those spaces, we chose to take action and build something for us, by us.
We recognised the lack of long-term, proactive development that is strategic and shaped collectively through grassroots initiatives. The Ruh Collective exists as a home, a place where culture and faith are not things to explain or justify but foundations we stand firmly on.
Our identity is rooted in Muslim representation, with awareness of the diverse experiences within rurality. Based in Gloucestershire, we aim to activate this rural identity and create opportunities for connection and growth, focusing on health and wellness, arts and creativity, and spaces that truly reflect our values.
